THE RED MARSH KING

Who am I?

My name is Lauren Miller.

I was fourteen years old when all this began. Then, and now, my life sucks. There are things out there. Bad things. They’re happening to everyone.

The people we love.

Those we hate.

No one is immune and they have to be stopped.

To do that, I need your help.

  • Another Dark Tower of Sorts

A love of Stephen King got me into this. Along with Clive Barker and James Herbert. If you’re looking for who’s responsible, they are. Each one accountable. Guilty men. They left me driven to write. Uncertain of my talent. Invisible to any audience. With a need to tell poky stories of horror.

I cry in the wilderness as I travel across the apotheosis of all deserts, left only the devil grass to feast on, hoping not for sweet dreams but nightmares. I seek Quiddity. And while most would stay clear of the Fog and out of the Dark, I crave their shelter.

Lauren and Jake know all about nightmares. Theirs fill the waking world.
