Again, in no particular order, the sixth of ten great albums or E.P.s I discovered this year and Lauren would have loved. 

‘Watch It Ache and Bleed,’ despite the ominous title, is simply great fun, bursting with energy and fizz. Nieve makes aching sound so catchy, and bleeds with a spring in her step, one that belays the depth hidden beneath the jangly guitar and crisp vocals.

Nieve rocked Gorilla in midwinter here in Manchester, and I am looking forward to her doing the same in March 2025.
