Hope Kills, Write Anyway

So, I went and entered my first novel into a competition. And I know. I do. It won’t win, but then hope’s a trickster. It sneaks in like Casper, the friendly ghost, and leaves your dreams in shreds like Freddie Krueger.

But in the end, what makes a story truly dark if not a little dangerous hope?
